Theology
Ministers mature in theological knowledge: able to research and study, to teach the congregation and protect the Church from false teaching, and to help believers understand, explain and live by the truth they have learned.
Rev. Dr. Dereje Fantaye founded the college in 1994 E.C. to give ministers a thorough grounding in the Word of God. More than 6,000 students have studied here since then, and our graduates now serve in churches throughout Ethiopia and in many other countries.

Founded by Rev. Dr. Dereje Fantaye. Training ministers for 25 years.
Students who have studied at Grace.
Our graduates serve in churches across the country and around the world.
Grace helps church ministers gain a deeper understanding of the Lord they serve, so they can share the knowledge of God's Word with their congregations.
We translate and provide teaching materials in the languages our students understand, speak and use in ministry, so that Bible teaching and study are within reach of every minister.
Grace has taken the Gospel to rural and urban communities through outreach and evangelism, and has given humanitarian help to government institutions and religious organizations.

Qualified counselors with Biblical and psychological knowledge, who guide people in their spiritual lives, help with health-related challenges, and support families in marriage and raising children.
Ministers called to spread the Gospel, make disciples and plant churches, with the knowledge and practical skills to be effective workers, faithful to their calling.

Theology
Mornings begin in prayer. The whole college gathers for chapel on Wednesdays. Afternoons belong to the library and tutorials, Fridays to mentoring groups, and weekends to a local church, serving under a supervising pastor.
Move your mouse over the timetable to see it flat.
Students and faculty worship together each week. Senior students lead and preach; guests from Ethiopian churches bring the word.
Every student belongs to a group of six or seven with a faculty mentor, for prayer, accountability and honest questions.
Weekend placements in partner churches, with a supervising pastor who reports back on preaching, teaching and care.
Commentaries, theology and church history in English and Amharic, with quiet reading rooms open into the evening.
Our lecturers bring both academic training and years of experience in church ministry to the classroom.
